How do I book a photography session with you?

What types of photography services do you offer?
I photograph families, couples, maternity, lifestyle newborn, Fresh 48, milestones, headshots (including seniors), and small business branding.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.
Sessions within the greater Seattle area are included; locations outside of this area may be subject to a travel fee.
How long does a typical photo session last?
Sessions are offered as Short Story or Full Story experiences, depending on what you’re hoping to document. Newborn sessions are intentionally unhurried. Check out the the investment page for more information.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. My editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I'm flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
Do you offer prints or albums?
At this time, galleries include a print release for personal use. Guidance on printing and preserving your images is always available upon request.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s okay — truly. Children are allowed to be themselves. Sessions are built with flexibility, movement, and patience in mind. Some of the most meaningful images come from in-between moments.
There is no pressure for perfection here.
Do you offer refunds or reschedules?
Because sessions are limited and reserved intentionally, retainers are non-refundable. However, I understand that life happens and will always approach rescheduling with care and understanding when possible.
Can I get the RAW photos?
RAW files are not included. They’re unedited, high-volume files that require professional processing. The images you receive are fully edited to reflect the quality, tone, and style of my work.
Newborn FAQ
When should we book our maternity session?
Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 30–35 weeks, when your bump is beautifully present and you’re still feeling comfortable moving and connecting.
How does booking a newborn or Fresh 48 session work if baby’s arrival is unpredictable?
Newborn and Fresh 48 sessions are reserved by due date month rather than a specific day. Once your baby arrives, you’ll let me know and we’ll schedule your session based on availability and what feels best for your family. Flexibility and care are built into these sessions.
Do you pose newborns or provide props?
My approach is baby-led and focused on documenting your family as you are in this season. I keep things natural and relaxed. I do have a small selection of simple props available, such as a Moses basket, wraps, and neutral throws.
When should we book a newborn session?
The best time to reserve your newborn session is around 20–25 weeks of pregnancy. This allows us to secure space around your due date and ensures availability once your baby arrives.
How long are newborn sessions?
Lifestyle newborn sessions are unhurried and typically last up to 90 minutes, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed.
What should baby wear?
Simple, comfortable outfits photograph beautifully. I’ll provide guidance prior to your session, but comfort always comes first. I also have a small selection of wraps and simple onesies available if needed.
